I also recently received a comment from www.JobTonic.com I very much appreciated them visiting my blog and recommending their site…here is a bit of the note:
over at www.jobtonic.com,we’re already embracing web 2.0 ideas in a similar way, we have a contact grabber that can import your contacts from gmail, yahoo, msn and outlook on the desktop to name but a few. that’s up and running as of last week so we’d welcome you to come over and take a look!
The site homepage is broken up basically into three parts: job-seekers, referrers(which get paid to refer), and recruiters. One thing that sets them apart is the referring rewards aspect. From what I gather you earn points and get rewards. I was not able to find if it was free or what the fee was. They are definitely embracing a move towards Web 2.0…but there could be more community and interaction. Maybe you have to register to see this, if so I would suggest spotlighting the onling community aspect of it immediately upon opening the site. Tagging seems to be a huge success on these type of sites, too.
hey, thanks for the write-up, there are no fees to pay to sign up at JobTonic, it’s all free and you can start to earn cash (not points) straight away.
good to have your feedback though, we’re already looking for ways to improve the communication of the concept to people landing at the site first time so hopefully that will be improved soon
ps – your link above has a comma included so is going to a dead page
Kind regards,
